ABOUT.

Hello friend, I am glad you have found us here. Welcome to my heart. Here I hope to give you a little glimpse into my homestead journey and my world. I can’t promise it will always be pretty, but what I can promise is that it will always be real.

I am Nicole, born and raised on the same land I farm today, in Nashville, TN. I grew up frolicking in my great grandmother’s garden on this land, so the passion grew deep within me. I live exactly one mile away from this little plot of land with my husband Nick, and I enjoy biking to my farm daily.

At our home, my husband and I grow herbs and veggies, and raise chickens, ducks, and rabbits. We have 3 dogs who we treat like children. One mile away, on my parents land, we grow 90 varieties of vegetables, 40 different medicinal herbs, and raise bees. We run a small CSA or Urban Farm Share and a CSH (Community Supported Herbalism) from our two plots of land.

Things I love to chat about are, fermentation, reusing and mending, plant magic, Earth bound spirituality, and of course, farming. If you love to chat about these things too,  send us a message. I would love to hear from you!

    What amazing work you are doing. I commend you.

    I was just reading an article about you in the East Nashvillian and I wanted to share a website with you. There is a man in the UK who has done dig/no-dig experiments for several years. I have not looked over all the results myself but I imagine you guys might be interested to look his findings considering you have gotten some flack for you methods. 🙂
